A child starting school for the very first time can be daunting, and it is perfectly normal to feel apprehensive and have lots of questions.  We will do our very best to help you. The journey to school life starts here!

What happens next and what do we need from you?

Ahead of your child starting with us please click here to complete the admission form.

You will also need to send a screenshot or photo of your child’s birth certificate to this email address: startingschool@layton.blackpool.sch.uk  If you cannot find your child’s birth certificate, then our Family Engagement Team can help. Please contact the school office for more information.

Should you be experiencing difficulties completing the Admission Form, please call into the school office to collect a form (and we can also photocopy your child’s birth certificate) or contact us to request a paper copy to be sent out to you.
