As an Apple School we have a dedicated group of iLeaders.  The mini iLeaders work with our ileader staff members to support learning.

Head Boy – Declan

Hello, my name is Declan and I am Head Boy at Layton Primary School which I believe is definitely a 5 star school.  At Layton, all the children are polite, friendly and welcoming.  Whenever you pass us, we will always ask you how you are and we will hold the door open for you. Learning at Layton is fun, exciting and interesting because our teachers find lots of different ways to challenge our thinking. We all enjoy any challenge, in any subject here at Layton. Our 5Rs (Reflective, Risk-taking, Resilience, Relationships, Resourceful) encourage us to be the best that we can be in all areas of school life. We would love to welcome you to be part of our Layton family; I am certain you will enjoy it as much as I do!

Head Girl – Rose

Hello, my name is Rose and I am Head Girl at Layton Primary School. In school, we not only focus on our learning and education but also developing our 5Rs: relationships, resilience, reflectiveness, risk-taking and resourcefulness. Our varied curriculum enables children to learn creatively whilst being challenged and encouraged to think critically. ‘Growing great minds together’ is our school motto, which mean that in the classroom, we believe there are thirty teachers, not just one. We all learn from one another. Our school also offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities for all pupils. Your child will be encouraged to challenge themselves in other ways by attending clubs such as ballet, dancing, football, cricket, sewing and much much more! The Layton family will support your child throughout their journey at Layton and help them gain confidence and resilience in all that they do. We hope to see you and your little one here soon!

Deputy Head Boy – Liam

Welcome to our amazing school, Layton Primary School. My name is Liam and I am the Deputy Head Boy. At Layton, children are encouraged to use the school’s 5Rs in every lesson and in all that they do. All of the lessons we enjoy here at Layton are challenging, fun and get our minds thinking. At Layton Primary school, all of the staff and children are polite and will help with anything needed.  EVERYONE here at Layton are learners; our slogan is “Growing Great MindsTogether” so that means all of us!

Deputy Head Girl – Daisy

Hello I’m Daisy, Deputy Head Girl. At Layton Primary School, both the children and the staff make sure that everyone works together so that our school is a safe and enjoyable environment to be in and so that everyone receives an excellent education. That’s why our slogan is ‘Growing Great Minds Together.’
During lessons, we are all active learners and everyone joins in discussions. I love that our teachers find fun and exciting ways for us to learn and they encourage us to help one another. The children here are hard-working and are always up for a good challenge. Using our 5Rs, risk-taking, resourceful, reflective, resilience and relationships, we all strive to be the best we can be.
