My name is Teddy, and I am Layton Primary School’s dog.  I am normally at school on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday and I love to come to work to support the children.  I especially love chasing the ball on the field and reading with the children at school, but I also enjoy all the fuss I get when I go out to play at lunchtimes and say good morning to the children and parents each day.

My jobs in school are:

• to support the children with reading
• to help children manage their emotions
• to be on the yard in the morning and at the end of the day to greet children and parents

I also hand out my special Teddy Awards each half-term.  Teddy Awards are given to those children who I have spotted working really hard on the Layton 5 Rs!
