School Attendance

Good attendance means going to school every day.  You may think 90% attendance is high but that means your child will miss half a school day every single week.

To ensure children are in school every day, you should:

• Make all appointments outside of school hours, if possible
• Plan holidays when schools are closed
• Check the school day and school calendar in advance
• Communicate with school immediately to resolve any concerns or worries, rather than keep your child off school

Inset Days:  Monday 1^st & Tuesday 2^nd September 2025 school closed to pupils

School Opens:  Wednesday 3rd September 2025

School closes October Half Term:  Friday 24th October 2025 (normal finishing time)

Inset Day:  Monday 3rd November 2025, school closed to pupils

School Opens:  Tuesday 4th November 2025

School closes for Christmas:  Friday 19th December 2025 (early finish time - after lunch)

 

Spring Term

Inset Day:  Monday 5th January 2026, school closed to pupils

School Opens:  Tuesday 6th January 2026

School closes for February Half Term:  Friday 13th February 2026 (normal finishing time)

School Opens:  Monday 23rd February 2026

School closes for Easter:  Friday 27th March 2026 (early finish time - after lunch)

 

Summer Term

School Opens:  Monday 13th April 2026

School closed for May Day Bank Holiday:  Monday 4th May 2026, school closed to pupils

School closes for May Half Term:  Friday 22nd May 2026 (normal finishing time)

School Opens:  Monday 1st June 2026

School closes for Summer:  Friday 17th July 2026 (early finish time - after lunch)
